Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy. It was used by early civilisations as a healing method, although it has only been recognised in Europe and America since the 1960s. The therapy is based on the premise that every part of the body has a corresponding reflex in the foot (and hand). Working these reflexes affects the relevant area in the body and rebalances those that need it. Stress is one of the main complaints of our age.
